Generally paint production can be divided into the followingprocesses:
1.Dispersion: Wet the solid components anddisperse them into the solvent to get slurry with Wuxi Transocean® high speed dispersers or high dispersing kettles.
2.Grinding: Grind the particles to expected fineness and evenly disperse them into the slurry with appropriate grinding equipment according to the material characteristics and product fineness requirements. 3.Color mixing: Add appropriate quantity of pigment and ground slurryinto Transocean® mixing kettles, and mix them evenly to obtain the colored paints.
4.Filtration: The paints are filtered with a Transocean® bag filter or a self-cleaning filter to remove impurities and coarse particles and obtain qualified paint.
5.Filling: The filtered paint is quantitatively packed with buckets by Transocean® filling machine to obtain the finished paint. According to the characteristics of the paints and the packaging specifications, gravimetric filling machines or volumetric filling machinesare available with Wuxi Transocean. The degree of automation of the filling machine can be designed with comprehensive consideration of filling capacity, the number of operators required, and the user’s investment budget.
The operating platforms of these processes can be distributed on the same floor or on three different levels. Among them, the dispersion systemsare placed on the top layer, the grinding equipment are placed on the second layer, and the mixing tanks, filters and filling machines are placed on the bottom layer. The material flows from top to bottom by its own gravity, which can effectively reduce the residue in the pipeline.
