Horizontal Agitator Bead Mill

TRANSOCEAN® horizontal agitator bead mills consist of a horizontally arranged frame, a feed pump, a double-end mechanical seal, a grinding cylinder with a cooling jacket, a hollow rotor with a cooling system, grinding beads (Zirconia beads), a bead separation and discharge device, instrumentation and electronic control system. In the grinding cylinder, specially designed high-hardness pins are staggeredly installed on the rotor and the inner wall of the grinding cylinder. The pins installed on the rotor transfers the kinetic energy required for the grinding operation to the grinding beads and the materials to grind.

The processing capacity of the TRANSOCEAN® horizontal agitator bead mill depends on the volume of the grinding cylinder, ranging from 5L to 100L. According to the characteristics of the material and the expected fineness of the product, a dynamic gap separator or a dynamic screen separation system can be selected to separate the grinding beads from products. For materials with medium and low viscosity, a dynamic screen separation system is used; for materials with high viscosity that are easy to block the dynamic screen, a dynamic gap separator is used.

Application

Maintenance Recommendations
1. Clean the beads: Clean the beads regularly to remove any dirt or impurities that may have accumulated.
2. Lubricate the bearings: Lubricate the bearings to reduce friction and ensure smooth operation.
3. Check the grinding chamber: Check the grinding chamber regularly for damage or wear and replace it if necessary.
4. Check the feed mechanism: Make sure the feed mechanism is working properly and the material being processed does not clog.
