Introduction
TRANSOCEAN® gravity free mixer makes full use of the convection mixing of the materials in the mixing chamber to ensure that the materials with different particle sizes and densities are fully and evenly mixed. The materials are thrown up in the twin U-shaped horizontal mixing chamber to form a flow layer, which makes the material lose weight instantly and ensures that the materials with different particle sizes and densities are fully and evenly mixed. The counter rotating twin shafts with a certain number of inclined overlapping blades are supplied in the mixing vessel. These blades rotate and force the materials to circulate axially and radially, which forms a flow layer in the mixing chamber. Under the action of convection mixing, the materials in the instantaneous weightlessness state in the layer are evenly mixed to avoid material accumulation and dead area. Usually the finished materials are discharged from the mixing chamber by the pneumatic flap valve or manual flap valve at the bottom of the chamber. The discharge valve is integrated with the inner wall of the chamber. The full-size valve can be opened until the whole bottom is open, which facilitates quick and complete discharge without residue. Spray nozzles can also be installed above the chamber to spray liquids into the mixing vessel for solid-liquid mixing. If fibers are included in the materials a certain number of fly-cutters will be supplied in the mixing chamber to cut up the fibers and make a way for the subsequent processing. The dust collecting system is available as an option to collect the dusts at the working site to improve the working environment.

Features
● The mixer body can be made of carbon steel or stainless steel.
● The materials thrown up by the agitators in the mixing chamber are in the state of weightlessness, so as to overcome the influence of different particle sizes and densities on the mixing effect.
● No Delamination or segregation will happen when the mixer is used to mix materials with large difference in density and particle size among various components.
● A manual/ pneumatic flap valve is adopted for discharge of final products.
● The gravity free mixer is applicable for processing of spray less than 17% by weight.
● Liquid spray nozzles and a heat exchange jacket can also be provided to make it work as a solid-liquid (liquid content < 15%) mixing and drying equipment.
● It is applicable for intermittent operation.
Advantages
1. High mixing uniformity: It can evenly mix materials with large differences in specific gravity, particle size and specific gravity, and the maximum mixing uniformity coefficient of variation CV value can reach ≤3%.
2. Fast mixing speed: Generally, powder mixing only takes about 2-3 minutes, which can greatly improve production efficiency.
3. Low energy consumption: The energy consumption is only 1/4-1/10 of that of ordinary mixers, which is energy-saving and environmentally friendly.
Applications
