1. Preparation before operation:
1. Check the status of the equipment:
Confirm whether all parts of the sand mill are intact, including the grinding cylinder, disperser, mechanical seal, belt, coupling, etc., and check for looseness, wear, cracks and other abnormal conditions. If there is a problem, it should be repaired or replaced in time.
Check the electrical system to ensure that the power supply wiring is correct and firm, the voltage meets the equipment requirements, and the electrical equipment has no leakage, short circuit and other faults.
2. Add grinding media: According to the properties of the grinding material and process requirements, select suitable grinding media (such as zirconium oxide beads, glass beads, etc.), and add them to the grinding cylinder according to the specified filling amount. When adding, be careful to avoid leakage of grinding media and mixing with impurities.
3. Add materials and solvents: Add the material to be ground and an appropriate amount of solvent to the feed hopper or feed pump to ensure that the concentration and viscosity of the material meet the processing requirements of the sand mill. At the same time, check whether the material contains hard foreign matter such as metal to avoid damage to the equipment.
4. Connect cooling water: Open the cooling water valve to ensure that the cooling water circulates smoothly, and the flow and temperature of the cooling water must meet the cooling requirements of the equipment. This is very important to prevent equipment overheating, protect mechanical seals and extend the service life of the equipment.
5. Check the lubrication system: For parts that need lubrication (such as reducers, bearings, etc.), check whether the oil level of the lubricating oil is normal and whether the oil meets the requirements. If necessary, add or replace the lubricating oil in time.
2. Start-up operation:
1. Start-up sequence:
First turn on the cooling water system, observe the flow of cooling water, and proceed to the next step after confirming that there is no abnormality.
Start the drive motor of the sand mill, let the equipment idle for a while, check whether the equipment is running smoothly, and whether there is any abnormal noise, vibration, etc. Do not add materials during idling.
When the equipment is idling normally, start the feed pump and slowly transport the material into the grinding cylinder. At the beginning, the feed speed should be slow, and after the equipment runs stably, gradually increase the feed speed.
2. Operation parameter monitoring: Pay close attention to the operating parameters of the sand mill, such as motor current, pressure in the grinding cylinder, temperature, etc. The motor current should not exceed the rated current of the equipment, otherwise the equipment may be overloaded or malfunction; the pressure and temperature in the grinding cylinder should be controlled within the range of process requirements. If the temperature is too high, it may cause material denaturation, mechanical seal damage and other problems. Observe the grinding of the material, regularly check the material fineness, particle size distribution and other indicators through the observation window or sampling port of the equipment, and adjust the operating parameters of the equipment (such as speed, feed speed, etc.) according to the inspection results to ensure that the grinding effect meets the requirements.
3. Precautions during operation:
1. Prevent idling: During the operation of the equipment, it is strictly forbidden to idle when there is no material or grinding medium in the grinding cylinder, otherwise it will cause serious wear and even damage the equipment.
2. Avoid foreign matter from entering: Make sure that the feed material does not contain hard foreign matter such as metal and stone to avoid entering the grinding cylinder to damage the grinding medium and equipment parts. Before feeding, the material can be screened or filtered.
3. Pay attention to safety protection: When the sand mill is running, the operator must wear necessary protective equipment, such as safety helmets, goggles, gloves, etc. to prevent accidents. At the same time, keep the environment around the equipment clean and tidy to avoid the accumulation of debris affecting the normal operation of the equipment.
4. Check the equipment regularly: During the operation of the equipment, the equipment should be checked regularly, including the connection of each component, the leakage of the mechanical seal, the wear of the grinding medium, etc. Find problems and deal with them in time to avoid small problems from turning into major failures.
4. Shutdown operation:
1. Stop feeding: First turn off the feed pump and stop delivering materials to the grinding cylinder, but let the equipment continue to run for a period of time so that all the materials in the grinding cylinder can be discharged.
2. Turn off the motor: When the materials in the grinding cylinder are drained, turn off the drive motor of the sand mill. Before turning off the motor, make sure that the equipment has stopped running to avoid damage to the motor caused by sudden power failure.
3. Turn off the cooling water: Finally, turn off the cooling water system and close the cooling water valve. If it is in winter or when the machine is shut down for a long time, the cooling water in the equipment needs to be drained to avoid freezing and cracking of equipment parts.
4. Clean the equipment: After shutdown, the equipment must be cleaned, including cleaning the residual materials and grinding media in the grinding cylinder, cleaning the feed hopper, discharge pipe and other parts to keep the equipment clean and hygienic.
