The high-speed disperseris applicable fordispersing,de-aggregating, wetting and stabilizing of various materials. There are many types of dispersing discs, which can be roughly classified according to the following two forms.
Divided according to the surface of the dispersing disc: double-layer dispersing disc, multilayer dispersing column, single-layer dispersing disc.
Divided according to the position of the dispersing tooth: internal tooth dispersing disc, peripheral tooth dispersing disc.
The saw-tooth dispersing disc is one kind of key component of the highspeed disperser. The high-speed rotation of the disccreates a rolling circulation of paint slurry in the mixing tank and forms a large vortex. The particles at the top of the paint slurry are quickly descended in a spiral shape to the bottom of the vortex. In the area about 2.5~5cm from the edge of the disc, a turbulence zone is formed. In this area, the particles are subject to strong shear and impact, which are quickly dispersed into the paint slurry. Outside this area, upper streams and lower streams are formed, so that the paint paste can be fully circulated and turned.
The stator/rotor structure is another type of key component of the high speed disperser. The high tangential speed and high-frequency mechanical effect generated by the high-speed rotation of the rotor result in strong kinetic energy, so that the materials are subject to strong mechanical shearing, centrifugal extrusion, liquid layer friction,impact tearing and turbulence in the narrow gap between the stator and the rotor. Make the immiscible solid phase, liquid phase and gas phase uniformly and finely integrated under the corresponding processing conditions. After dispersion, high-frequency circulation and reciprocating motion, stable quality products can be obtained. Compared with the threeroll mill, the high-shear disperser has the advantages of high efficiency and low energy consumption.
