I. Sealing System Maintenance
1. Sealing Ring Treatment
After cleaning with a neutral detergent, wipe dry with a soft cloth and inspect for cracks/deformation (visual inspection should be performed under sufficient light).
Apply food-grade grease (such as silicone grease) to prevent cracking. Nanoscale equipment should be cleaned with anhydrous ethanol.
2. Sealing Component Storage
When not in use, seals should be stored in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.
II. Key Component Protection
1. Grinding Media Management
After cleaning, screen the zirconia beads. Replace if the wear rate exceeds 30%. Do not mix media of different particle sizes.
2. Lubrication and Maintenance
Refill the bearings with Mobil automotive grease every 400 hours and the spindle every 2000 hours. Clean every hour.
Use low-temperature grease in winter (for environments below -20°C).
III. System Maintenance
1. Moisture Prevention
Inject a small amount of solvent or pure water into the grinding chamber to keep it moist to prevent the seal from drying out and cracking.
Apply rust-inhibiting oil (such as WD-40) before long-term shutdown.
2. Electrical Inspection
Test the motor insulation (using a megohmmeter) after cleaning. Keep the control cabinet dust- and moisture-proof.
IV. Special Scenarios
1. Winter Shutdown
Drain the cooling water and dry the pipes to prevent ice damage. Install insulation sleeves on the valves.
2. Restarting the Machine After the Holidays
Check that the cooling system is circulating properly and that the pressure balance tank fluid level is within the specified range.
