1. Use a temperature control system
Dispersion kettles are usually equipped with a dedicated temperature control system, including a temperature sensor, a controller, and a heating element. The temperature sensor monitors the temperature of the material in the kettle in real time and feeds the signal back to the controller. The controller compares the received temperature signal with the preset target temperature and controls the working state of the heating element according to the deviation value. When the material temperature is lower than the target temperature, the controller starts the heating element for heating; when the temperature approaches or reaches the target temperature, the controller reduces the heating power or stops heating to keep the temperature stable.
2. Adjust the heating power
If the heating system of the dispersion kettle has an adjustable power function, the temperature can be controlled by adjusting the heating power. In the early stage of heating, the heating power can be set higher to make the material heat up quickly; when the temperature approaches the target value, the heating power is gradually reduced to avoid temperature overshoot.
3. Use jacket or coil heating
Many dispersion kettles use jacket or coil structures for heating. The temperature of the material in the kettle is adjusted by controlling the flow and temperature of the heat medium (such as hot water, hot oil, etc.) flowing through the jacket or coil. A flow control valve can be used to control the flow of the heat medium. The larger the flow, the more heat is transferred to the material and the faster the temperature rises; otherwise, the temperature rises slowly or drops. At the same time, the temperature of the heat medium can also be adjusted to achieve more precise temperature control.
4. Set temperature alarm and safety device
In order to prevent damage to materials and equipment caused by excessively high or low temperatures, a temperature alarm device should be set. When the temperature exceeds the set safety range, the alarm will sound an alarm to remind the operator to take corresponding measures. In addition, safety devices such as over-temperature protection switches should be equipped. When the temperature reaches the limit value, the heating power supply is automatically cut off to ensure the safety of equipment and personnel
