1. Daily cleaning
External cleaning: After each use, wipe the outside of the equipment with a clean rag in time to remove the ink stains attached to the surface to prevent it from being difficult to clean after drying.
Drain the residual material: Open the discharge valve and drain the residual ink in the equipment. You can use a special container to collect it to minimize the ink residue in the equipment.
Rinse the grinding chamber: Inject an appropriate amount of cleaning solvent into the grinding chamber, such as xylene and alcohol commonly used for solvent-based inks, and water for water-based inks. Start the equipment and let the stirring paddle run at a low speed for a period of time to allow the solvent to fully rinse the inner wall of the grinding chamber and the grinding medium, and then drain the solvent. Repeat this operation 2 to 3 times until the discharged solvent is basically clear.
2. Deep cleaning
Disassemble parts: Deeply clean the equipment regularly (such as weekly or monthly). After turning off the power and ensuring that the equipment is completely stopped, carefully disassemble the detachable parts, such as the stirring paddle, grinding tank cover, etc., and carefully clean them with solvent and brush to remove stubborn ink stains.
Clean the grinding media: pour out the grinding media, soak it with solvent and stir it to clean it, then filter it with a screen to remove the ink lumps and impurities mixed in it, wash it and dry it for later use.
Comprehensive inspection: After cleaning, conduct a comprehensive inspection of the equipment to ensure that there is no ink residue and component damage, and then assemble the equipment.
