1. Optimize equipment configuration
Select suitable grinding media, such as zirconium oxide beads, which have high hardness and strong wear resistance and can effectively refine pigment particles; adjust the medium particle size and filling rate according to the characteristics of the ink. Generally, the smaller the particle size and the filling rate are between 60% and 80%, the better the grinding effect. Upgrade the dispersion disc design and use serrated or multi-layer dispersion discs to enhance the shear force on the ink and promote uniform dispersion of the pigment.
2. Accurately control process parameters
Set the appropriate speed according to the viscosity of the ink and the characteristics of the pigment. Initially pre-mix at medium and low speed, and then gradually increase the speed to 1500-2000rpm for efficient grinding; control the grinding time and temperature, grind for 30-60 minutes at a time, and control the temperature below 50-60℃ through jacket cooling to prevent the deterioration of ink performance. Use segmented grinding and multiple circulation processes, combined with 30-50μm screen filtration to ensure that the fineness meets the standard.
3. Strengthen raw material and formula management
Strictly screen raw materials such as pigments and binders to ensure purity and stability; optimize the formula according to the purpose of the ink, add appropriate dispersants and rheological additives to improve pigment dispersion and ink fluidity.
4. Strict quality control
Establish a complete testing process, use fineness meter, viscometer and other equipment to detect the fineness, viscosity, hue, tinting strength and other indicators of the ink in real time; keep samples for testing of each batch, analyze data and feedback to adjust process parameters.
5. Standardize equipment maintenance and cleaning
Regularly check the wear of equipment and replace worn parts in time; after production, thoroughly clean the grinding basket, dispersion disc and other parts to prevent residual ink from affecting the quality of the next batch. Through the above measures, the fineness, uniformity and stability of the ink can be significantly improved to meet the needs of high-quality printing.
