Introduction:

TRANSOCEAN® industrial horizontal kneader machine is an ideal machine for kneading, mixing, vulcanizing, and polymerizing of highly viscous elastic-plastic materials. Usually two Σ paddles are arranged side by side tangentially. One mixing paddle runs fast and the other one runs slowly, in order to generate strong shear force, so that the semi-dry or rubbery viscous materials react and are mixed quickly. The kneading machine is mainly composed of a kneading mechanism, a base, a hydraulic system, a transmission system and an electronic control system. The kneading mechanism is generally consists of two Σ-shaped blades with different rotation speeds and a twin U shape groove. The speed of blades varies according to different processes, mostly 42 / 28rpm. The machine base is welded from I-beam and carbon steel plate. The hydraulic system consists of a hydraulic station and a hydraulic cylinder, which are used for the material tank turning and the tank lid opening and closing. The drive system consists of 2 motors, 2 reducers and gears. The motor is connected to the input of the reducer via an elastic coupling or a belt. The output of the reducer is connected to the stirring paddle via an internal and external gear coupling. Inverters are provided as an option for the speed regulation of mixing blades. According to the requirements of the processing technology the kneader can also be equipped with a heat exchange device. Usually following heat exchange methods are available as an option: electric heating, steam heating, circulating hot oil heating, circulating water cooling, etc. Finished products can be discharged through mixing groove tilting, ball valve or screw extrusion. The wetted parts i.e. the surface of the groove and the paddles are made of SUS304 stainless steel.

● The kneading machine generally uses a universal base to facilitate installation.

● Worm gear reducers or cycloid pin gear reducers are adopted on small kneaders (1-100L), while hard tooth surface reducers are used on large kneader (100-2000 liters) to ensure of smooth transmission, low working noise and long service life.

● The surface of the stirring blades is made of SS304 or SS316L, and oxide layer on the surface has removed by secondary shot peening.

● The inner wall of the mixing groove is made of SS304 or SS316L, and is mirror polished to reduce residual of materials and ensure product quality.

● Packing seal and vacuum box balance structure are adopted at the end of the mixing shaft, which ensures of perfect sealing performance and easy maintenance.

● Integrated electrical control system (main engine operation, hydraulic cylinder turning, hydraulic cover opening and constant temperature control), temperature controller and digital thermometer facilitate convenient operation and process control.
