Introduction
TRANSOCEAN® V-shape mixer is an efficient asymmetric mixer. There is a motor and a reducer at one end. The reducer drives the V-shaped material tank to rotate via a coupling. The materials flow and get mixed in the rotating vessel. A vacuum feeding device is available as an option for fast feeding. V-shape mixer is suitable for mixing powders and granules with good fluidity and small differences in physical properties. Because of the stable material flow in the V-shape mixing tank it will not damage the original shape of the materials. Therefore, the V-shape mixer is also suitable for the mixing of granular materials that are liable to break and wear, as well as the mixing of fine powders, blocks, and materials with a certain amount of moisture. A forced mixing rod is available as an option.
Structural composition
1. Shell: usually made of high-quality stainless steel, with good corrosion resistance, easy to clean and maintain, and can meet the hygiene requirements of food, pharmaceutical and other industries.
2. Rotor: It is the core component of the mixer, usually composed of two intersecting bridge-shaped blades, which can quickly mix materials in a short time.
3. Transmission components: including motor, reducer and coupling. The motor transmits power to the reducer through the belt, and the reducer transmits power to the V-shaped cylinder through the coupling, driving the cylinder to rotate continuously.
4. Safety protection devices: such as limit switches, safety doors and electrical protection devices, which can effectively prevent damage to personnel and equipment caused by accidents.
Applications
TRANSOCEAN® V-shape mixer is suitable for mixing of powders and/or granules in chemical, pharmaceutical, food, flavoring, dye, graphite, iron powder, plastic, rubber, feed, ceramics, metallurgy and other industries.

Precautions for use
1. Installation: The equipment should be placed stably, the feet should be installed and leveled to ensure that the equipment can rotate freely.
2. Debugging: Before use, an idling test should be carried out to check the tightness of all connectors, the amount of reducer oil, and the integrity of electrical equipment.
3. Feeding: The amount of feed should not exceed the specified volume. After feeding, the feed cover should be closed tightly.
4. Cleaning: After work or when changing varieties, the inside and outside of the hopper should be rinsed clean to prevent cross contamination of materials.
